Delamanid [Dlm] Drug Dosages and Duration​

Delamanid (Dlm) is used for longer oral MDR/XDR-TB regimens. It is available as 50mg tablets, administered for 24 weeks. Dosage varies by age: 100mg BID for adults/adolescents, 50mg BID for children 6-11 years.

Delamanid (Dlm) Drug Dosages and Duration

Delamanid (Dlm) is considered only for the longer oral Multi (M)/ Extensively Drug-resistant TB (XDR-TB) regimen as per the Programmatic Management of Drug-resistant TB (PMDT) guidelines.

Formulation:

Film-coated tablet with 50 mg Delamanid

Duration:

24 weeks. The Optimal Background Regimen (OBR) will be continued beyond the 24 weeks of Dlm administration.

Dosage:

  • Adolescent (12-17 years) and adults: 100 mg orally twice daily (two tablets of 50 mg)
  • Children (6-11 years): 50 mg orally twice daily
